Properties of viscose fibers
Viscose fiber is called artificial cotton because of its characteristics similar to cotton.
Cotton staple, wood pulp and bagasse are the main raw materials for viscose fiber production, which have abundant resources and low manufacturing cost. The dry strength of viscose fiber is lower than that of cotton, its wet strength is only about 66% of the dry strength, the elastic recovery ability is poor, not wear-resistant, not sun-fast, alkali and acid resistant; However, the viscose fiber has good hygroscopic properties, is easy to dye, and the fabric is comfortable to wear. By blending it with synthetic fibers, the wearability of fabrics can also be improved. Matte fiber can be produced by adding proper amount of titanium dioxide into the stock solution.
Properties of viscose fibers
1.Good moisture absorption, soft feel, wear health and comfort.
2.Tthe wet strength is greater than the dry strength, but the overall fast and durable.
3.Good dyeing performance, soft luster, natural beauty.
4.Alkali resistant, high temperature alkali treatment can be made of mercerized cotton.
5.Poor wrinkle resistance, large shrinkage.
