Modal fabric features and maintenance

Modal is a cellulose regenerated fiber of high wet modulus viscose fiber developed by Lenzing company of Austria. The raw material of the fiber is made from European beech, which is first made into wood pulp and then processed into fiber through a special spinning process. The raw materials of the product are all natural materials, harmless to the human body, and can be naturally decomposed, harmless to the environment. The entire production process of the fiber is also free of any pollution.

The raw material of Modal fiber is produced from the shrub of Europe, made of wood slurry after a special spinning process, is a cellulose fiber, so it is the same as cotton cellulose fiber, is a pure natural fiber.

Modal products because of its own has a very good softness and excellent moisture absorption but its fabric crisp poor characteristics, now mostly used in the production of underwear. Modal's knitwear is mainly used in underwear. However, Modal has a silver luster, excellent dyeability and bright color after dyeing characteristics, enough to make it used as a garment. Because of this, Modal is increasingly used as a material for outerwear and its decorative cloth. In order to improve the poor crisp quality of pure Modal products, Modal can be blended with other fibers, and can achieve good results. JM/C(50/50) can remedy this shortcoming. The blended fabric woven with this yarn makes the cotton fiber more flexible and improves the appearance of the fabric. Modal can also reflect its weavability in the weaving process of woven fabrics, and can also be interwoven with other fibers to weave a variety of fabrics. Modal products have broad development prospects in modern clothing.

The dry strength of Modal fiber is close to that of polyester, and the wet strength is much higher than that of ordinary viscose. The luster, softness, moisture absorption, dyeing and dyeing fastness of Modal fiber are better than that of pure cotton products. The fabric made from it shows a silky luster, with a pleasant soft touch and drappiness, and excellent durability.

Modal fabric maintenance:

1.Wear time to minimize friction, pulling, often change, to prevent long-term wear deformation; Clothes after washing, drying, ironing, should be stacked flat, according to the deep, light open, should not be hung in the wardrobe for a long time, so as to avoid elongation deformation;

2.Modal hygroscopicity is very strong, collection should prevent high temperature, high humidity and unclean environment caused by mildew phenomenon; Ironing requires low-temperature cloth ironing, ironing to use less push and pull, so that the clothing naturally stretched right.
